How often have you had a practice session and it feels like you are all dialed in with a wedge and then you pick up the driver and the ball flies all over the place. Well there is a key difference that you need to be aware of if you are going to hit the driver properly. Because the shaft is a lot longer, the diver shaft needs to get to a much shallower position as compared to a wedge.
The principle of how the swing works are really very similar between a wedge and a driver. But until your understand how the angles of the arms and shaft motion need to adjust for a longer length club you will struggle with the driver if you are trying to feel the same angles as a wedge.
In this video we show just how big the differences are and what you need to look for in your practice session as you review the video of your swing.
